Hi World!
My work has come to existence through natural experiences of linear forms, geometric, graphics, with columns, spheres, squares, lines, and spatial identity. Shapes found in nature, utilizing light as it identifies forms organically shaping into natural designs. A hard-edged style Minimalist, Cubist, Bauhaus, Modern Abstract Expressionism, Neo-Dada, Geometric Abstraction, and Pop-art perspectives. Using the classics renderings to identify spacial compositions. My grandfather a Blacksmith, and my father a designer for the Havana Carnavales during the 1940s and 50s. I created my first painted piece in high school onto a piece of plywood using my intuative knowledge. It was my Piet Mondrian interpretation even though at the time, I had no idea of him or his work. In college, my work was more directed to graphic-geometric photographic interpretations. Creating abstract realist adaptations using film and print. Photography was the medium I chose from the beginning. The medium that created results more spontaneous. Today, one of my creative mediums still remains with the camera as I use it as a tool to create other styles of work. Other mediums I use involves the computer to work with black and white and color manipulations of photography along with designing metal sculptures. My continuing thought in the process has been influenced by the likes of Piet Mondrian, Carmen Herrera, Ellsworth Kelly, Mark DiSuvero, John Henry, Picasso, Lichtenstein, Marcel Duchamp, and countless more. Having lived in Europe and traveled to other parts of the glove has also influenced my overall visual perception. The evolvement of my work produced through the past 40 plus years has been accomplished through personal growth throughout surrounding environments. No matter the situation or place I encounter. Bringing classical abstract forms to today's visual foresight. My work brings esthetic tranquility. A minimalist of objects transforming a space into a pleasing composition.
